First Pre-move post!

Hello friends, family, and random internet strangers!  This blog is going to be where you can find all the information about our cross-country move!  For those of you confused by our display names/blog title, we're using our normal online handles, Lavender and Cades. :)

So, some basic info to get everyone up to speed, yes?  Now that Cades has finished school we're moving out of Georgia and off to Portland, Oregon!  Thanks to a gracious graduation gift from his parents we have the chance to turn that move into not JUST a move, but a 2 week vacation drive across the US.

So far things are going well here, we're on track to be all packed up when out POD gets here, and I did a video tour today of the apartment and our progress:

Not a whole lot else to report right now, but we wanted to get at least a first post up so we can start linking people here for updated!  There should be lots of pictures of packing and prep coming soon, and then lots of updates and photos from the road!
